  • If you have been accepted as a Student for the Work Exchange Program at the Temple of Tantra, you may choose your preferred option from the chart above. 

  • List your 1st ____ 2nd ____ 3rd ____ choice and we'll check for availability of your option

  • WE REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF A SIX MONTH COMMITMENT.

  • Payment of $500 security deposit plus $500 tuition is due one week before arrival at the ashram in advance before you begin your stay with us.

  • You work off your hourly commitment to the Temple based on the chart above which is credited towards your tuition. 

  • Tuition amount is the minimum cash contribution to the community required each month based on the option you chose.  

  • Monthly tuition payments are due on the first of the month by 12 noon. 

  • Late fees, penalties and interest apply for late payments and overdrafts of checks.

  • Work hours are Monday through Friday unless special arrangements are made.

  • All students use group kitchen which is the only area which has a stove and cooking facilities.

  • Student tuition and work exchange contracts (covenants) are based per person.

  • Couples are accepted but treated as individual entities.

TUITION INCLUDES THESE BENEFITS:

  • Free YOGA followed by meditation *

  • Free CONSCIOUS COMMUNICATIONS classes Mondays, 7PM  *

  • All you can personally eat from the yard and garden.  (Harvesting must be done under supervision until you learn about tropical agriculture and the proper time to harvest fruits and vegetables).

  • Sunday morning Tantra Temple Services, Meditation, Potluck Brunch *

COMMITMENT:  We require a minimum of six months commitment for residential members of our community. 

PRIVATE ROOMS: Students are placed in private rooms whenever available. Most rooms share a bath and all share a group kitchen.

DORM ROOMS: Dorms students share a bathroom and use the group kitchen.  Dorms may have up to four people depending on the size of the dorm.   Beds are usually twin or single.  Queen and king beds are reserved for couples.

GROUP KITCHEN:  All share the group kitchen.

COMMITMENT: Community Members commit to a minimum of six months to stay at our facility and work a minimum of 10 hours a week. 

COMMUNITY MINDED:  We have very limited accommodations in our Student Program so we are very selective about who we have here.  We are interested in providing space for those who are serious spiritual seekers on the conscious evolution path with a strong desire to grow, expand and evolve.   We seek those interested in creating intentional community. We need those who have skills necessary to help us build, expand and maintain our spiritual community.  

UTILITIES: No air conditioners permitted on the property.  The temperature here is very moderate to cool and air conditioning is unnecessary. Utilities average about $100 - $150 month per person and are reflected in the tuition fee chart above.  Please turn off all lights, fans, etc. when leaving the room to help us keep our operating costs to a minimum. 

HOUSING ROTATION: Some Members opt to periodically rotate housing in order to get to know all the community Members.   Students may be moved to different housing by management as needed.
